This is so amazingly fantastic that I have no words, lol. It’s so incredibly easy for a guy to just kind of go to the bathroom wherever he wants even if he’s sitting in a car and has an empty bottle hanging around. But for women it’s a much different story and takes so much effort and is much more annoying.Especially if you’re driving cross country regularly or touring and you have a bladder condition like interstitial cystitis which causes you to have to urinate more than usual but you don’t feel like pulling off at a rest stop and losing at least an hour of driving time during the day just to pee.I had no idea something like this even existed, but I am so incredibly grateful that I found it. Because taking a cross-country trip is going to be much easier. Now about the product itself... It works exactly as advertised. It fits your body shape correctly so that it will be difficult if you push it against your body for there to be any leaks. It feels like it fits very well, and depending on how flexible you are, lol, you might even be able to sit in the passenger seat and use this if whoever’s driving doesn’t mind. Or maybe they do mind but you don’t care that they mind. 🤣I’ve tested this, and I can tell you that it seals great. There’s not even a tiny bit of leakage, it’s durable and made very well and I think this will be reasonably easy to use, and it could even be used perhaps twice before having to empty it.It’s well worth the money if you’re in a situation where this could be of use even occasionally. Because I gotta say I’m totally stoked about it.I do hope you like this review, that it’s helpful, and that you have a phenomenal day!
I car camp a lot, and the drive back to my house has an over 1hr stretch with no bathroom stops. Needless to say, I've had a lot of close calls on the road. I'm a girl, so going in a bush is not a very convenient option, but this surprisingly sleek-looking pee jug is a great solution tbh. I can drink water in my car without worrying about planning restroom stops now. I usually just go to my tinted backseat, kneel upright on my chair facing backwards, and position this jug under me. You can't use it sideways though, or at least I've never tried. I thought it would be gross to use, but it's actually pretty painless. It fits perfectly with no leaks while you're using it, so I don't have to worry about positioning it right. It holds about two bathroom breaks' worth of pee. Maybe three, but you'd have to be careful of spilling or splashing on the third, so I've only used it twice before dumping it. It doesn't leak in transit and kind of works like an airtight thermos, although I double bag it in a freezer bag just in case. It's very easy to carry into a restroom (I put it in my tote) and just dump out at a toilet. It's easy to dump too, and has never spilled or splashed outside the toilet. Obviously, keep it lower to the water or there will be splashback. It's not heavy, even when full, and it's narrow enough that it's pretty easy to hold. I like the material on the outside. It's got sort of a soft silicone feel to it. I don't think most people could even recognize it as a pee jug, and it's been really easy to keep clean. After emptying it in a bathroom, I give it one rinse, then shake some warm water and soap around in the closed jug. Then I dump that and rinse one more time with warm water. Takes less than a minute and leaves no smell. This thing is really convenient and has already saved me enough times on the road to have been worth the purchase. I even used it at home, when my boyfriend hogged the bathroom for like 45 minutes. Highly recommend for women who are on the road a lot or have small bladders.Update: after a year, this thing is toast. It's holding smells, it leaks now (thank goodness for the double bag!), and is overall pretty gross. I still feel like I got my money's worth for how many times it's saved me, but I'm throwing it out. Deducting a star, but I'm still buying another one because it really did work well for a while. It's certainly not a buy-it-for life product, but works great short-term.
Didn’t think I’d be reviewing a pee bottle, but here we are. Took this on a road trip with limited bathroom stops and it was a total lifesaver. The design is discreet enough to use in the car (with privacy of course), and the seal is tight with zero leaks. It holds enough volume for one full go, and the shape makes it easy to use even if you’re not used to this kind of thing. It’s also great for camping or if you’re recovering from surgery. The lid locks tight and there’s zero smell afterward. Not something I ever thought I’d buy, but now I wouldn’t travel without it. If you need a backup bathroom option, this works great.
As a single male, I had to reach out to get assistance for this review. The LoonaGo female urinal is for women who need quick, clean relief. So I asked a female friend who is an outdoorsy type to try it out.Her first comment was when she opened it, she actually thought it was something you put a drink in.After getting over that part, she liked the compact size and the fact that it had a carry tab. Also has a leak proof lock, which is important. It holds up to 24 ounces as stated on the packaging. Only complaint was the opening should be wider, but in an emergency, you can’t be that picky.Since I ordered it, she wasn’t aware that it is almost $40, and I can’t speak for the value on that but as an outsider that seems really overpriced.
I have hip replacement surgery coming up and am told it can sometimes be difficult to make it to the bathroom in time and that a bedside commode might be advisable. So when I saw this female urinal, saying good for bedside, I thought Eureka! and ordered. The container seems to be good quality, and I was curious if it would work for my needs. Have never used a female urinal before so had nothing to compare it to. My bedroom is carpeted, so if this was going to work it needed to work!Went to the bathroom and tried it over a paper-lined plastic wash basin so I could detect any escaped drips. Well, unfortunately I didn't need the paper towel to tell me - quite a lot didn't make it in the urinal. I positioned it with the lid open towards the rear because that gave the best seal. Not sure what I'm going to do now. I will likely still keep it bedside after surgery for emergency but will use it over a wash basin with a large towel underneath to cover all bases! It held a moderately full bladder, and the seal was good with no leakage once closed.I tried this a few times wondering if I somehow hadn't positioned it correctly, but in the end concluded this urinal doesn't work with my anatomy. Since I can't use it without leakage, not sure how helpful it would be roadside (old-fashioned squatting would be easier and cleaner), wouldn't risk in-car use, and in nature (camping, etc) am back to squatting. This is an awesome urinal for anyone’s anatomy it works for, but it’s not a given it will work for all women.
This is definitely an upgrade to the hospital urinal!! We have a truck camper and love to travel. But the urinal we have is just ugly, and embarrassing to have on the door and to empty. The lip of this is contoured and although I haven't used yet, looks like it will be comfortable, functional and the size will be easier to use. It also has a nice tight closing lid with a strong clasp, so no leaking even on its side/upside-down. We have a longer road trip planned in about a month and a half and I'm looking forward to having this!!
I got it for camping to use in the tent at night. I tried it in the shower, and I missed quite a bit. So, the next time I lined up the outermost rim with my pubic bone, that is I placed it a little farther back. Worked great. I recommend trying it in the shower a few times until you get the hang of it.
Super Comfy
This is perfect for when the seas are too rough to go below to use the head on a sailboat. Design is stable when you may not be!
I may need education, but I just tried it for the first time, and had to clean a puddle up. Do I need to spread my labia? Pee slower? Explicit instructions would have helped! Also, I stopped early due to the mess and it was full to the top, minus the leakage!
I used this about 4 times while backpacking and would definitely recommend it if you don't like stepping outside of your tent in the cold! I wanted to test out how air tight this was so I filled it with water when I first got it and shook it vigorously both grabbing it from the bottom and then lid- it didn't spill. Since it was airtight I decided to take it backpacking for those times I wake up at night with the urge to pee. I was able to squat in my tent, place the Loona against me, and then relieved myself. I will admit it was odd to urinate into the container but I think it'll just take some getting used to. This works great if you need to pee but don't want to step out of your car camping set up or backpacking tent in the cold. I would suggest testing out what position you're comfortable with in the shower or bath tub (before showering) so you can make sure you're placing it against you in a way that is best for your anatomy. If you're camping I would bring a designated water bottle that you can use for rinsing the container after you empty it in the am. (If you have limited mobility in your hands I wouldn't suggest trying to use the Loona Go on your own. It’s air tight is great but due to how tight it is I had to use both hands to securely grab the container with one hand and then close the lid and lock with the other.)
It did not come in discrete packaging. It was in the original box clearly showing what it is. Also, it is smaller than I expected. I will use it but will have to be careful and not over-fill it.
This helps me with my urgency.
The best thing i have found that works on the go. Way better than any kind of disposable ones. And it's descreet. The top is piece is contoured to fit your body, and soft yet firm, so you can get a good seal but it feels soft on your skin. The lid closes and seals VERY tightly.
I bought urinals for all the girls and women in my families. When my grandson and his sister were traveling across the country a couple years ago, they couldn’t find an available restroom. My grandson said if his sister would have brought along the urinal, neither one of them would have endured painful urgency.
Capacity is not large enough
Well worth the price. LoonaGo is a valuable, sturdy, easy to use item that is air tight! Great for traveling and discrete. You can't go wrong ordering from this top notch seller!
I use this every time I go camping when I have to "go" in the middle of the night. It truly does contour to your body to help the stream go where it's supposed to. I do recommend testing it out in the shower if you've never used anything like this before. It's also discreet so I don't feel like the entire campground knows what I'm carrying to the restroom in the morning.
This worked great for the first few days after a hipReplacement
This is perfect for when I travel.
This is a great on-the-go item; my only complaints I have with it are that I never remember to take it with me when I could actually use it, and it is so large that it doesn't make traveling light easy. I have wanted to use this while on a car trip where for some reason there are 0 rest stops and never any businesses open when we drive through. It would have been PERFECT to not stop at a sketchy gas station at 1am in the middle of nowhere. Alas, I forgot to take it with me. With that said, it doesn't travel very well. It doesn't collapse to fit in a bag because it is such a thick plastic. This is both a good and bad thing. It makes holding it super easy.I would say this is a luxury item but I don't think the item is worth the price. This is easily a $25 item that you buy 2 of but at $40 I don't see myself purchasing anymore, even if it works well. I will definitely be taking this with me on camping trips in the summers and to the river or beach when bathrooms are closed or non-functioning.
Impressive with this product! I tested with water inside & did aggressive shake to make sure there's no leak and etc .. none! Looking forward to use it for nomadic lifestyle and hiking days :)
I'm loving this, cute and useful. I just wished the bottom tapered into a cup shape so I can easily store it in the car. Still trying to get the hang of this. I have a little spillage each time.
I’ve reviewed a ridiculous amount of camping gear, and I’ve done a whole YouTube rabbit hole on different ways to handle “the bathroom situation.” So when I say this is the best one I’ve tried, I mean it.This is it. This is the one. It’s genuinely the easiest, most mess-free, no-spill option I’ve found. The fit makes sense for an actual human body (thank you), and it seals well enough that I’m not doing that tense little “please don’t leak” shuffle. No splash, no drips, no surprise pee trail. Just… works. The lid is solid. I feel comfortable having it in the tent, in the car, or bedside for those middle-of-the-night moments when the weather is awful or you’re half asleep and the idea of shoes is offensive. It holds a lot too, which sounds like a weird compliment, but it matters. It also doesn’t look like hospital equipment. It’s subtle enough that it can live in a tote or glove box without being a whole thing.Cleaning is easy. Wide opening, smooth inside, rinse and go. If you’re camping, wipes work in a pinch and you can do a real wash later. This is one of those products you don’t think you need until you do, and then you’re mad you waited so long. If you camp, road trip, or just want a no-drama backup plan at home, I’d buy it again.
