OUR MISSION

Boom began with a fall

A routine trip to the bathroom in the middle of the night that should have been simple, but wasn't. The question that followed was one that millions of families know all too well. How do you keep someone you love safe without making them feel like a patient in their own home? The answer was clear: We'd have to create the solution ourselves.

We all have our own mountains to climb

It’s hard to imagine a more perfect embodiment of Boom Essentials than Dr. Art Ulene. He’s an avid skier, an eager explorer, a gelato connoisseur, and the oldest person to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro, a feat he accomplished on his 90th birthday. Art didn't let his age, his body's needs, or the world's expectations define what he could do. But he did let a team of guides support him along the way. It was that kind of thinking that spurred his daughter Val Ulene to cofound Boom Essentials. The brand’s promise isn’t comfort in spite of your needs. It’s freedom because of how well those needs are met. From recovery and rest, to exploration and adventure, Boom is here to make everyone’s life a little bit easier, one step at a time.

This is so good. I wouldn’t be without it in our camper-van. No drips or spills and it looks just like a vase, rather than a pee pot. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I bought the LoonaGo for long car rides, and wow, it is a total lifesaver! I can’t believe I went this long without it. It makes traveling so much more comfortable. I’ll never take another road trip without it!

Works great, easy to clean, super positive seal when closing, built like a tank, wide mouth is easy to use in the middle of the night with no worries of "aiming", not the cheapest, but definitely worth it!

So well designed, so easy to hold onto in the middle of the night. It's a gem. This makes it so easy for me to get back to sleep without tottering down the hall in the dark to get to the bathroom. Thank heavens for women making products that women need!

Perfect! The shape makes it easy to use, the locking clasp avoids spills, the shape disguises it as I head to the outhouse to dump it. Highly recommend.

This urinal is so much better, more practical, more unbreakable, easier to clean, more reliable, easier to manipulate than the typical cheap, lightweight, fragile kind that it is worth every penny. I'm so glad that I discovered it.
